The first Sunday of the month marks the return of Metropolitan Sunday, a day when all residents of the Metropolitan City of Florence, as well as visitors, can enjoy the city museums for free.
Numerous tours and activities are planned for both young people and adults, which will allow them to explore the wonders of Florentine museums, their permanent collections, and temporary exhibitions: Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Museo Stefano Bardini, the Deportation Memorial, Museo Novecento, the Brancacci Chapel in Santa Maria del Carmine, and the MAD – Murate Art District.
Alongside the permanent collections, there is also a rich schedule of temporary exhibitions. At Palazzo Medici Riccardi, visitors can explore the exhibitions ""The Enchantment of Orpheus.
